Today’s Ancient Rare is Duggan Wildhammer, the level 55 Dwarf who was captured in Eastern Plaguelands in 2006. Only high-level Horde need attempt this battle.

Ancient Rares are World of Warcraft named mobs who used to be identified by a silver dragon around their portrait. They nearly always drop a tasty item upon death and respawn on long, varied timers.
