Warcraft General Manager, John Hight, has announced his departure from Blizzard Entertainment. The surprise move comes just a few months before the launch of World of Warcraft‘s next expansion, The War Within.
Hight, who was with Blizzard for 12 years and was one of the well-liked public faces of the WoW team, posted a farewell on the platform formerly known as Twitter.
“As for what’s next in my journey, I don’t have any specifics to share quite yet, but I am excited to explore new opportunities and challenges in the industry, and to continue making great games with talented people.”
