As I’m sure you’re aware, World of Warcraft‘s Season One gets underway today in The War Within. While there’s plenty to do in-game, at some point, you’re going to have some downtime and require something WoW-related to watch or read.
That’s where these print and video interviews with the dev team will come in handy. First up, there’s still some Gamescom chats coming in and you can get your eyes on a ScreenRant talk with Blizzard’s Maria Hamilton and May Flores-Garcia: Making The War Within More Accessible & What That Looks Like.

“Maria Hamilton: There’s so many different groups that are involved in making a new race, from the artists that are conceiving the look and getting the scale right and all the possible customizations, so players can feel unique and different, to the animators that are giving us cool moves that fit that kind of new race. In the case of the Earthen, they’re heavy, blocky, stone and mineral-encrusted, gem-encrusted creatures, so making those animations look and feel right.“
